About Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Cristina

I am a registered therapeutic counsellor, dedicated to support women to heal and flourish – one conversation at a time.

My qualifications include a Diploma and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling, and I am currently undertaking a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling (to be finished at the end of 2025).

I started my career in the health industry as a Pharmacist, back in Brazil, but as a result of my immigration and own personal healing journey, I realised that working as a Pharmacist was no longer aligned with who I was becoming.

In needing to re-start my personal and professional life from zero as well as find my own answers, strengths, and soul stamina, I became increasingly interested in the many different dimensions of healing, and progressively disenchanted with compounding and dispensing medicines.

I see counselling as a remedy that provides you with a room of your own.

A safe room or space [and relationship] – away from the ordinary busy-ness of life – where you can pause, listen, and reflect on your soul’s deepest truths, needs and yearnings.

A room where it is possible to get a feeling of who you are and who you are becoming. Where you can voice and explore your fears, anxieties, and insecurities and thus move towards a greater fullness of being. A space where it is possible to own your story, access your own wisdom and recover self-direction.
